Rocks and minerals earth science resources will let students break open some
very cool crystal-filled 100-million year old Geodes that they can add to their own
collection.

Students will be exposed so some of the finest museum quality minerals
(amethyst, pyrite cubes, citrine, fluorescent minerals) and lots more all from our own private
collection.

Students will learn about "rocks" that they actually eat on a daily basis. Plus,
get samples of rocks and minerals we use regularly. We rarely stop to think about the fact that
almost every item in our homes comes from some form of rock or mineral dug up from the
earth.

During our Rocks and Minerals school programs or after school programs students will excavate their very
own collection of some fantastic rocks and minerals using our proprietary crystal filled rocks. Each
student receives a tool and learns to extract their really cool specimens for their own collection and
study.
