48 Inch Long Cast Skull of a Mosasaur (swimming reptile, Kansas)

6 Ft. Genuine Mosasaur Backbone Vertabre
The bone is "real", the matrix however was man-made.
Many institutions have been fooled by these.

Giant GENUINE FOSSIL Mosasaur Jaw above.
30 inches wide - 100lbs

 vs

Mosasaur Jaw below commonly found in Retail Fossil Shops.  This one however has genuine bone and teeth but it was "put-together", it was man-made.  This is not genuine and most commonly sold to consumers.

Is It Real,  Or Is It Fake?

2 beautiful looking Paradoxides Trilobites.
The one on the left is FAKE. It is "stamped" into this mold and colored. Most commonly found on eBay and a lot of retail shops and purchased by unsuspecting consumers.

With regards to the one on the right above, the bottom 1/2 is real and the rest is "doctored-up" or fixed to make it look commercially better.

Below is a Double Paradoxides Trilobite which is a
100% GENUINE FOSSIL

Is It Real,  Or Is It Fake?

Very common commercially available cut-and-polished
Orthoceras (Sea-Squid).  Although the fossils are genuine, they are "pasted" onto the rock.

Below is a more expensive comercially available Orthoceras Fossil available in many retail shops. This one shows a break about 30% in from the left suggesting that this was paste together from two different specimens.

Below is a GENUINE ORTHOCERAS FOSSIL.
